Vote!

Well, we’re less than a week from Election Day in a highly competitive race. Because the turnout will be pretty low, each vote is very important. My strength lies in my support — all of you! So I’m asking each of you to reach out to your network and encourage them to vote for me. If each of us can bring in 10-15 votes, it will go a long way to putting us over the top. Dear friends (and family),
I’m writing to encourage you to vote for my friend Ron Collins for City Council. Ron’s background as a teacher/administrator, local businessman and longtime city volunteer gives him the skills and experience that we need in these challenging times. Ron knows how to bring people together, listen to diverse points of view and build plans that work. He is committed to increasing city revenue through business development, maintaining a strong school system, and encouraging active dialog among all San Carlans. This will be a very close election, so your vote will be very important. If you’re an absentee voter, your ballot must be received at County Election Headquarters by Election Day. So if you haven’t mailed it by Thursday the 3rd, please drop it off at City Hall (2nd floor) any day during business hours or take it to any polling place on Election Day (Tuesday the 8th).
